The rationale for the recommended daily intake of 10 g of burdock powder.

Our burdock powder is not a supplement. It is pure burdock powder without any additives, grown and harvested in a place called Oita Prefecture, Japan, and then powdered.

As a result, it is rich in dietary fiber and fructo-oligosaccharides as well as potassium, magnesium and folic acid.

Dr Oyaizu, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo and one of the leading authorities on intestinal bacteriology, recommends taking 3-4 g of fructo-oligosaccharides daily to cure hay fever and other symptoms. In burdocks, this amount is equivalent to 100 g.

It is suggested that 100 g of burdock root in one meal a day is a lot and can be boring, so it may be better to use it in combination with onions. Specifically, it is recommended that 50 g of burdock and 50 g of onion would be realistically possible.

Burdock powder alone is equivalent to 2 tablespoons (10 g). 

For these reasons, our company recommends taking 10 g of burdock powder every day.
